Good Day!

Well it's a Monday at about 3:30 p.m. I have much to do, but just can't seem to get motivated. I have recently watched the movie Facing the Giants. Not the first time I've seen it, but it was much needed and well received. The reason why I bring this movie up is key to this post.

I know we all have obstacles in life to overcome. But sometimes, most times for me they seem to be mounting and multiplying. For myself these obstacles appear to me, to be impossible for me to overcome. And I guess that's why this movie has touched me to the inner most part of my being. It's something that I'm trying to overcome...that's the problem...me!!! I need to do my very best in these areas of my life that seem impossible, honor God in all that I do, leave the results to God and praise Him no matter the outcome.

I know my God is the God of the impossible, nothing is too difficult for Him. Philippians 4:13 states the familiar verse of scripture..."I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength". Mark 10:27 states "But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible." Now Jesus was speaking about how it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. His disciples had asked him "who then can be saved?" and He answered the above verse.

What does this mean to the subject at hand?... Jesus did not say a rich man CAN'T enter the kingdom of God, He said it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. The rich tend to love their wealth more than God, and put their dependence on themselves more than they do God. And that's where my problem lies not trusting, depending on and believing that God will provide for me in all areas of my life.

And so I ask myself that question when it comes to Passion Clothing, that seems to be at a stand still...What is impossible for God? Slim to no sales, not many daily site hits, no interest or many comments from Facebook fans. I find it difficult to even give away a T-shirt. Yeah...FREE!

So this is my prayer...that God would bless Passion Clothing abundantly above and beyond all that I can comprehend. Not for my glory or honor, but for His. I will do my best to honor, glorify and be obedient to Him, and trust Him and leave the results up to Him, and no matter what I will praise and worship Him 'til my dying day!!!!!

Thank you and God Bless!

Laminin- Cell adhesion molecule

Hello All!!!

I’ve just recently found out about this stuff called laminin.

What is laminin?

It’s a protein, a cell adhesion molecule. What does it do you ask???? Laminin proteins essentially “glue” the cells (such as those lining the stomach and intestines) to a foundation of connective tissue. This keeps the cells in place and allows them to function properly. The structure of laminin is very important for its function. So basically it holds the human body together.

Ok Gary....thanks for the science lesson. What’s your point????

Let’s take a look at what God’s word says in Colossians 1:15-17…
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth , visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.He is before all things, and in him all things HOLD TOGETHER. "

Pretty cool huh? Let me just say it gets better…a whole lot better.

Grab a hold of your chairs and hold on, on this one.

Now let’s take a look at a scientific diagram of this cell adhesion molecule.

Scroll down to see……

Awesome is it not??? Blew me away! The very cell that holds our bodies together, in the perfect shape of a cross. The cross that our Lord and Savior hung and died from to save us and give us eternal life with Him in heaven. Jesus Christ not only holds us together spiritually but also physically. Glory to God!!!!!!!!

Christian T-shirts...Why am I doing this?

What up my people???? This is Gary of Passion Clothing Intl. coming at you at after 3 in the a.m.

I wanted to take the time to let you know what I'm doing, and why I'm doing it.

I have worked in the screen printing industry since right out of high school, which makes it about 20 years now (YIKES!!)I started in the art dept. doing what are known as color separations, and have become what is now called a graphic artist (and yes I started on, and currently work on a MAC!!! and I'm proud of it). After some time in the art dept. you end up running out of work and end up finding other things to do in a screen printing shop. And that is exactly what I had done, and that's exactly how I learned all other areas of the business. But I continued to work for others, I had no idea that I could work for myself.

Fast forward to about 2004, which is where I currently hold down my full time job as a graphic artist for a local screen printing company. My boss had given all employee's an option to make some extra cash...we could make 10% commission on any order that we bring in. So that's exactly what I started doing. I had landed an account with the local National KidneyFoundation, and got an order for about 500 shirts. Well to make a long story short, the printer did not do a very good job and when I pointed this out to the boss he blew it off. With that being said...that's all it took. I decided right then I would not let somebody else's decisions predict my future and I began saving and working on starting my own screen printing business. In 2005 I started GW Screen Printing that quickly became Almightees Screen Printing in 2006. I began running the business as a part time gig that I would later move up to full time when the opportunity arose.

Well I'm almost there but no cigar. And that is why I started Passion Clothing Intl. I wanted to be able to have a source to sell more shirts that would give me enough work to go full time. It's still in the early stages and I'm growing impatient. Not 1 e-store sale yet. But I know that in my heart that God is faithful...and I will trust Him to take Passion Clothing where He wants it to be, when He wants it to go. Now I do realize that I will have to do my part, which is putting Him first in my life and the rest will fall into place.

Keep your eyes and ears open for new blogs, I've got some real interesting stuff to talk about in the near future. I promise I will get the hang of this thing.

Be Blessed!
